Sodara™ Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation · Effective Date: 10-18-2026

LADS™, Low Altitude Drone Sequencing™ and Sodara™ are trademarks of Sodara Labs Inc.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the LADS™ platform and related services, hardware, and data (the "Services") provided by Sodara™ Labs Inc. ("Sodara"). It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. Violating this AUP is a material breach and may result in suspension or termination and reporting to authorities where appropriate.

2. General Principles

You must use the Services lawfully, responsibly, and only for legitimate business purposes. You are responsible for the conduct of all users under your account and for ensuring your deployment complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

3. Aviation and Airspace Conduct

You may not use the Services to:

  • interfere with, endanger, or attempt to interfere with any aircraft, crewed or uncrewed, or any person operating one;
  • plan, facilitate, or support any unlawful interference with the national airspace system or with lawful UAS operations;
  • represent the Services as an air traffic control, separation, collision-avoidance, counter-UAS, or safety-of-life system, or rely on them as such;
  • attempt to use the Services to target, disable, capture, redirect, or physically engage any aircraft.

4. Radio-Frequency and Detection Conduct

The Services operate on a receive-only basis. Remote ID broadcasts are public, unencrypted signals that UAS are required to transmit and that are designed to be received by any party with compatible equipment; receiving and processing them is a permitted and intended use of the Services. The restrictions below concern misuse and conduct that goes beyond receiving public broadcasts.

You may not use the Services, or any LADS LINK unit or associated equipment, to:

  • transmit, jam, spoof, decrypt, or otherwise interfere with any radio signal, including GPS/GNSS or control links;
  • attempt to intercept, access, or process signals that are not public broadcasts — such as a UAS command-and-control link, video downlink, or any encrypted communication — in violation of applicable wiretap, electronic-communications, or surveillance laws;
  • modify, tamper with, or operate LADS LINK units outside their documented configuration or authorized locations;
  • operate in any manner that violates FCC rules or other applicable spectrum or telecommunications regulations.

5. Privacy, Surveillance, and Third-Party Data

Receiving public Remote ID broadcasts is permitted. What is restricted is how the resulting data is used. You may not use the Services or any Airspace Data (including Remote ID or other third-party data) to:

  • identify, locate, track, profile, harass, intimidate, or stalk any individual, including any UAS operator, except as expressly permitted by law;
  • conduct unlawful surveillance or monitoring;
  • disclose, sell, or transfer third-party or personal data in violation of applicable privacy law or the Privacy Policy;
  • take any retaliatory, threatening, or unlawful action against any person identified or inferred through the Services.

6. Security and Integrity

You may not:

  • access or attempt to access the Services or another account without authorization;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach security or authentication measures, except under an authorized program with prior written permission;
  • introduce malware or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
  • circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.

7. Intellectual Property and Reverse Engineering

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Services except as expressly permitted; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or LADS LINK firmware except to the extent permitted by law notwithstanding this restriction; or use the Services to develop a competing product. (See also the End User License Agreement.)

8. Lawful Use and Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including aviation (e.g., FAA), telecommunications and spectrum (e.g., FCC), privacy, surveillance, and export-control laws. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, registrations, or authorizations required for your use and deployment.

9. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Services to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, to send unsolicited communications, or to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.

10. Enforcement and Reporting

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, recall LADS LINK units, and report to law enforcement or regulators. We are not obligated to monitor use but may do so. Report suspected violations or abuse to bryce@sodaralabs.com.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms of Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
